Its very disappointing to me for someone to organize this meet, get people into action building cars (some of us are half done!) and then basically back out and have no plan.

I "disappoint" you? :rolleyes: ...I don't know what to tell you. What have i done that someone else couldn't pick up on? All I was did was come up with the idea and set some ground rules. Just because I cant attend now that I've started a new job doesn't mean it cant go on.

As a matter of fact, I openly announced a few WEEKS ago that I likely wouldn't be able to do it, and invited anyone to continue setting it up... nobody decided to do that. Its not like its tough - like I said before, all I've done is make a thread and come up with some ground rules. Its not my fault in any way shape or form that this has fallen apart. Furthermore, I've said from the beginning that I'd need everyone's assistance finding a location, and despite one great lead, we ultimately weren't able to do that... once again, I don't see why I'm to blame for that.

Take the reigns and set up a later date, or don't whine about it. :2cents:

I personally think.. No matter what.. you start something that by the looks of it , seems like it was going to be big... You just cant back out.. new job or not..

ALl you had to do was when interviewing just request that day off.

...so im a bad host. sorry? it didnt seem like it was going to be big, it seemed like it was falling apart. no location, interest dropped BIG TIME recently, etc. It is what it is, if yall wanna be mad at me, fine. Cant please everyone.
